Live from June 18 to July 22, 2XU’s #iTRAIN2 online contest offers cycling enthusiasts and everyday athletes alike, an opportunity to WIN a trip for two as VIP guests, to the 2013 BMC Training Camp.

A compression partner of 2XU and the official team of 2011 Tour de France winner Cadel Evans, the epic BMC Training Camp grand prize includes return flights and transfers to Santa Rosa, California USA, three nights luxury accommodations, two 2XU Elite Compression Packs and an itinerary of VIP experience offerings.

Hosted on and 2XU.COM/itrain2, #iTRAIN2 is open to consumers across Australia and the United States, and asks entrants to respond to the question ‘Why do you train?’ in 140 characters or less.

For professional athletes like cyclists on the BMC Racing Team, training is strictly to win. However, for everyday riders, it’s not that simple.  #iTRAIN2 encourages fitness fans to ask themselves why they get up at 5am to exercise before work, why they push themselves on those last hills, or why they decide to head outdoors even if it’s raining?

To further motivate entrants and encourage the creative process, 2XU has produced an official #iTRAIN2 video offering glimpses into the psyche of elite Pro Tour cyclists as well as ‘weekend warriors.’.  Now live on 2XU.COM/itrain2movie, the official #iTRAIN2 clip welcomes comments and conversations by viewers at any time.

In addition to the BMC Training Camp VIP Experience, loads of other great Prizes are up for grabs including a BMC roadracer SL01 bicycle, signed kit, limited edition BMC Racing Team photography and plenty of 2XU Compression gear.

Beyond their short response, contestants can receive additional points in two ways:

a)     Like 2XU on Facebook (“Like Bonus Points”)

b)    Share the Contest via a message within the Facebook platform (“Message Share Bonus Points”).

Like Bonus Points will result in ten (10) points, Wall Post Bonus Points will result in one (1) point for every friend that enters the Contest with a maximum of ten (10) points, while Like Bonus Points can only be accumulated one (1) time.

Entries will be judged from July 23-25 and winners will be announced no later than midnight Friday July 27, 2012.
