Margaret completed a Bachelor of Nutrition and Dietetics/Bachelor of Applied Science (Exercise Science) at Deakin University in 2005. She is an Accredited Practising Dietitian and Accredited Nutritionist. She is a member of the Dietitians Association of Australia and an associate member of the Sports Dietitian Association of Australia. Margaret has over 5 years experience as a Dietitian and has worked as a clinical, community and a private practice Dietitian. Good food and nutrition for health and well-being and athletic performance is her passion; along with helping people to achieve their nutritional goals.
Margaret is also a keen age-group triathlete and regularly competes in Triathlons all over Australia. In 2012 she is stepping things up a notch and has signed up do complete her first half ironman. Being an age-group triathlete she knows, first-hand, about the importance of nutrition to athletic performance; from nutrition for optimum recovery to race-day nutrition. She believes nutrition is the fourth discipline in triathlon and without it success is almost impossible.
