Camilla Pedersen going for back-to-back wins in Aarhus Aimee Johnsen June 19, 2014 News Flash, Race Previews Camilla Pedersen headlines a small field to race at 70.3 Aarhus this weekend. Pedersen is undefeated this year and should remain so after this race. Pedersen may be making headlines for the amazing comeback story but previous to her bike accident she was one of the brightest rising stars on the long course scene. Pedersen was crowned the ETU European Half Iron-Distance Champion and the Ironman European Champion in 2013 and is strong over all three disciplines. She is the defending Champion and will most definitely want to go back-to-back at home. The fight for the podium places should be interesting. Tamsin Lewis is the most experienced on the start list and after a disappointing DNF at 70.3 Mallorca will be looking for a great race. Earlier in the year Lewis placed fourth at 70.3 Pays d’Aix and fifth at Challenge Fuerteventura. A strong biker, Lewis will be the closest to Pedersen. Team-mate and training partner of Lewis, Parys Edwards is a first year pro and this race offers a great opportunity for a confidence boosting result. Michaela Renner-Schneck is coming off a fourth at Challenge Rimini and will be vying for a podium finish. And rounding at the start list is fellow German Evi Neuscheler.
